Main Article Content
Abstract
The advance of technology and administrative processes in healthcare systems has led to dehumanized attention with business objectives of efficiency, effectiveness and effectiveness, giving priority to the latter rather than being. The nursing as essence is in the care based on human relationships.
Objective: share the experience of cultural adaptation to the Italian context of Caring Efficacy scale (CES)
Method: was developed in 5 steps direct translation, translation synthesis, retro translation, review of a committee of experts and finally a pre test
Results: some discrepancies have been presented as for example: with the terms "care" to the Italian context that can be translated as ASSISTENZA INFERMIERISTICA PRENDERE CURA COMPITI DI CURA
Conclusions: the caring Efficacy scale is culturally translated, adapted and validated, it becomes a useful tool that will help Italian-speaking nurses in their context, and will also identify strengths and weaknesses in order to improve care.
The theory of human caring Jean Watson demonstrates once again how it can be extrapolated through the scientific method consolidating its validity in the context of caring based on humanization
