Abstract

In this brief article we will highlight the necessity of the Italian recent graduates in Cardiopulmonary Perfusion to further complete their training with a period of post-graduate internship which will help the perfusionist to interface the actual difficulties in dealing with the profession.

From this point of view, the objective would be to try to engage a collaboration between universities and public or private hospitals/clinics, so that the sector operators could gain advantages and enrich their cultural and professional background.
